Our primary focus is Rotary International, a worldwide service organization that makes a difference locally, regionally, nationally and globally through the motto Service Above Self.
Rotarians adhere to the Four Way Test:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build good will and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
The Rotary Youth Exchange is a worldwide program that selects, prepares and sends students between the ages of 15 and 18 to live in a foreign country to attend school, live with host families and learn another culture.
Long term students spend a year and short term students spend six weeks. The short term exchange does not contain a school component.
Rotex is a Rotary-approved organization of returned exchange students. Rotex members assist in interviewing, mentoring and training future exchange students, as well as offering support and counseling to returned exchange students to help them reintegrate to their lives once they have returned home.
The Rotary Youth Exchange offers students the opportunity to travel abroad, live with afamily, go to school and make friends. RYE students apply in October, are interviewed inDecember, and train until August, then they’re off for a year of life-changing adventure!

In addition to service, Rotarians love being together. We use the word “fellowship” because it sounds more meaningful than “hanging out.” No matter what you call it, from working at a fundraiser (shown here) to doing projects across the area, you’ll become part of a group that’s not only making a difference, but having a darn good time doing it!
